For many light years Captain Blogg has viewed your sad little planet from afar. The plight of the Earthlings is quite discouraging to him. It appears that many of you are not happy unless you are engaging in destructive or self-destructive behavior. There is little apparent regard for the well-being of your fellow Earthlings.

And most of you seem to be utterly oblivious to the many ways you are controlled, misled and bled by your so-called leaders in Politics, Government, Religion, Big Business and The Media.

There are endless examples of narcissistic, neurotic and psychotic behaviors which are leading to the downfall of your “Civilization”. The most severe problems bear mention.

A)  War – It only benefits its suppliers and financiers. (Often used as a  convenient short term solution for politicians to stay in office.) Civil war is an especially virulent variety.

B)  Religious Fanaticism – It has been a major cause of A. Probably the worst example is the Suicide Bomber. This is the most notable contribution of the world of Islam  to “Civilization” in the last 1,000 years.

C)  Genocide - This is the belief that it is acceptable to kill people from another tribe, especially if you can blame your problems on them. (Often tied to A and B.)

D)  Abuse of Power & Political Corruption - These are time-honored traditions of governments everywhere. To one degree or another, the classic program is for the gang in power to take from the general populace and give to themselves and their pals.

E)  Poverty, Starvation, Lack of Affordable Housing, etc. - more results of the lack of regard for the well-being of your fellow Earthlings.

Captain Blogg is appalled that you stupid bastards could put up with this crap for so long. He almost feels sorry for you. He is amazed that you Earthlings have not totally wiped yourselves out and blown up your little rock.

The Good Captain has decided to try to divert you from your Fatality Follies by creating a way for you to blow off some steam and exercise whatever creativity you may have left. He is creating a forum for the VoxPopuli (Voice of the People).
