Pick your favorite problems and find or propose solutions.VoxPopuli II - SolutionsThe second forum (VoxPopuli II) is designed to seek, discover, create and facilitate real world solutions to real world problems. The kind of problems we are talking about here are the kind of problems that have become public problems. The kind of solutions we will focus on are private, Not-For-Profit, For-Profit Business or joint ventures between local governments and private entities. We are not seeking taxpayer-funded government boondoggles, er, programs. One of the worst examples that comes to mind is the long-running multi-billion (trillion?) dollar “War on Drugs”. (Let us hope that the “War on Terrorism” works out better.) The VoxPopuli II Forum is looking for some thoughtful, practical, serious solutions to serious problems. We do not need profanity and emotional opinions cluttering up the landscape. If you have a positive, innovative, constructive approach to a problem that causes people losses or suffering, we would like to hear about it here. It would be nice to create a little good news every once in a while. Even if nobody acts on it, you will have added some good to your little world. Both VoxPopuli Forums will give annual awards (kind of like Oscars or Grammies). We will have a panel of impartial judges and will be seeking nominations for the worst blunders and boondoggles, as well as the best solutions for serious problems.
